Did you go into the third shed at Wingham Wool? As you go through the back door there's the coloured merino hut on the left, the natural wool hut on the right and then down at the bottom of the car park there's the rainbow merino shed. They have some interesting things in here, when they do custom blending orders the spare bits end up in here. They aren't on the price list and you may never see them again (which is my excuse for diving in the bags whenever I go).

Not that I ever go there of course, hardly ever (Sundays usually)

Noooo I missed that one! Well, I saw that one, but there was a couple of lads sat outside it and I thought they were just working in there. Oh well, I've got something to look forward to next time haven't i?

Some lovely things there Jules, I like the yarn, is it the merino sliver they have in the big baskets? looks very christmasy colours :)

The little spinning book you've bought, the orange one, is fantastic, doesn't look much but it's got everything in you need to know, thats another thing I like about Winghams, they don't push the expensive stuff on you at all, indeed i've been shouted at before for picking things up I don't need :blush: and then kindly pointed in the right, and cheaper, direction :lol:

The merino & Silk blends are in that bottom shed too, as well as manufactured balls of yarn 100% wool, really cheap!

I'm absolutely foaming at the mouth now with the urge to visit Winghams. Probably better get myself up to Sheffield first though, to pick up the spinning stash I've got sitting waiting for me at my mum's.
