i love the five weirs walk it was my main into out of sheffield walk when at dundess road on sunday i walked from the wicker to medowhell http://pretentiousartist.com/fww/index.html are some images taken of that walk a 180 there abouts it was a low sunshine it just looked awsome have you walked the five weirs walk what are your thoughts

how much japanese knotweed did you see?

I was staggered by it the last time I did the bit near East Coast Road

Thanks for that i email them with a link i have ****ed up in my speed in getting them onto line etc.. but i have them on the hd so ill re work them over the weekend it was a nice walk.

Yes the knotweed was still there.

the problem with this weed is that it spread even more when trees are cust down,

I had to campaign and chain myself to a tree to stop the environment agency from cutting trees next to the river don on an area whick will be part of the upper don walk.

Where they did cust tree guess whats growing there now (not the glorious bluebells which were there before) but the japenese know weed. Evil stuff!

Is Himalaian Balsam a big problem along there too?
