My little girl is now three, and shes a normal (For one of my offspring anyway) little girl, but for the first six months or so of her life she had a habit of lifting both legs off the mattress when she was in her cot and then letting them slam down hard.
She would do this for anything up to four hours each night every night so my other half and I had lots of sleepless nights (not so bad for me because I was working four on and four off night shifts at that time but thats irrelevant).
She did this in her sleep and while she was awake she was a normal baby.
I asked a doc about this and she told me that it was because neurons in her brain were growing and firing off and slamming her legs in this way was pretty normal, but there were far wierder things that babys did at this time.
Do you have any examples of this?
