Hi. Does anywhere know where to buy cheap cards for card making? The ones I mean are the blank cards with a window that you slot a photograph in to make your own card. I have been buying them from hobbycraft but wondered if anyone knew of any cheaper places in Sheffield, or any good internet suppliers?
Thanks in advance.

Have a look at the recommended craft shops sticky  Failing that ebay often has some good bargains on cards :)
Ideal Envelopes at Handsworth were a lot cheaper if they have what you're looking for.
I'm new to this so I'm going to look in the other thread - hope this isn't duplicated.

Hi and welcome  What crafts do you do??
Hi and thanks for the welcome.
I am semi disabled so spend a lot of time at home on my own.
I Cross Stiched for about 7 years continuously, once I'd filled my walls and done samplers for most of my family, given away as many as I could get rid of :hihi: I decided to do card making for a change. There's still lots of aspects of this I haven't tried but I'll get round to them eventually. I thought I might be able to find an outlet but usually finish up giving a bundle to some charity or other to help them with their fundraising.

I don't have enough time to stitch to fill my walls, I mostly stitch presents for people
That is the thing I like about card making, the possibilities are endless. There is so much you can do and new techniques to learn.
There is a sticky post above for links to pictures of your work if you would be interested in showing us some of your work?
Good on you for doing stuff for charity, many need all the help they can get :)
I'd love to post piccis of some of my work, but I haven't a clue - I have photos so if someone could put an idiots guide up for me I maybe able to show you one or two.
