Myself and two friends usually go to Yates on a thursday night because they do a curry and a drink for £4.

Even thought it's really nice, we fanct something different tonight.

We are looking for something that is the same good value.

Any ideas anyone?

The Classic Rock Bar serve a meal from 6 - 7pm. There's only one item on the menu each day, which chops and changes...and is excellent. You'd pay half your salary for it further up Ecclesall Rd, but the CRB charges just £2. Veggie option also available.

It's more of a service for those arriving early to see the band than a money making venture.

I must say, I was at a gig a while back and thought the prices in there were v good indeed :)

And, the people v friendly....even tho' I guess the gig I was at isnt the usual kinda thing on there....It was the Frenchmen, pipas and the cut-outs...on Friday 23rd July. Ahhhh twee C86 bands in a "rock bar"....kewel :)

Count me in for a 2 quid feed soon :)
