As I pointed out in the camera phone thread, I'm having trouble connecting my phone to the PC. I have a cable that is apparently compatable with my phone, and indeed, i know it to be because it has worked a couple of times. I'm using the Oxygen Phone Manager software. The software is saying "phone not found", even though it is plugged in. I have had it working on two occasions, the first time was when I first installed the software, the second time was yesterday when I reinstalled the cable drivers. It has only worked once each time and can't get it to work again.
Can someone tell me how to fix the problem, or at least refer me to someone who might know what the problem is?
I had that problem with Oxygen and my Nokia 3510i, I fixed it by adding a connection to my phone in the options menu of Oxygen Phone Manager.
By the way do you have the demo or the full registered version of Oxygen?
I've tried to register my trial version but the links are either dead or I get a warning from Norton that something is attacking my PC when I click to go to Oxygen's webby  :loopy:

I've added the connection, but it still isn't working. It's a 'registered' version of OPM if you follow.
I take it nobody knows then? I'm splashing out on an infra red alternative now, so hopefully i shouldn't need a cable if it works.

I could never get my infa-red to work, so reverted to data-cable but I still can't get that to work, and guess what - the scanner has packed up!!
