It's flipping cold this evening

One morning earlier this week I opened the door and there was a distinct 'cold air smell' that I associate with winter.

Yes. Darn cold. Stepped off the plane and felt a brrrrr....
Actually, I do like the British weather. At least we see a 4 season year. It feels 'normal' in some ways.

I really hope so. I love winter, especially crisp cold sunny days, at the moment I'm getting confused as to what to wear everyday. Either too hot or too cold, you can't win.

I've got the long johns on!!!

This weather is what is known as 'back endish' :)

The chill is in the air, and we can feel Winter. It is that same type of feeling we get about the end of February, when we get a warm day, and feel Spring is on its way.

Dont forget, it is less than two months now that the days will be getting lighter again, and we are on our way back to Spring again. :D

No, Winter in UK officially starts on Dec 21st, but yes its flipping cold.

One of the best times of the year for me, is when all the trimmings are down, and Christmas and New Year are over.
There is is a feeling of a new beginning, a new start.
You have a full year ahead to sort everything out.
I remember watching the Sunrise on the new millennium, and thinking how much different things would be.
And they certainly have been different, but not in the way I thought.
The world has changed, and mankind with it, I think.
