3 nights running both mine & my partneners Vodafone Mobiles have lost signal at around 1am to be restored at around 6am. This was coupled with an outage of ITV3, Channle4 and Channle 5 disappearing last night between the same hours.

Does anybody know of any maintenance going on, on nearby didgital, Mobile Phone and TV transmitters nearby????

S2 area BTW.

I'm an Orange user for my sins... but i have a Vodafone moby and a Gizmondo (remember those)

Been trying to get credit balance on Vodafone (both units) since around 5am no joy - Tried foning both Vodafone numbers 'network busy'

MY phone has been out of action since 10 last night just keeps saying limited service. Cant get through to vodafone. I'm in Sheffield 9 area

Same here too - at the moment I can only get 'Limited Service'. Actually I didn't notice it until this morning, but from the posts above I guess it's been that way since late yesterday evening. Grrr - oh well, at least I know it's not related to my phone now (and that means I can stop taking the SIM card out now :P)

It's annoying though I don't use my phone often when I need to make a call I can't. Is this what they call sods law.

ive switched my phone on this morning and it says "no access to network" anyone else got the same problem.

We have company mobiles where I work and we are all on Vodafone. No network at all at the moment (8.50am)

same here, think there must be a problem, my mate at work is the same.

We've just had an email in work to tell us that the Vodafone network is down in Sheffield and Barnsley due to technical problems

I'm not happy, been up since five and my vodaphone mobile has no signal i can't make or receive calls. my moms back off holiday today and i wanted to call her... i was gonna take mine back to shop but I've ask my mate on msn and she says hers is out too... is any one else's out!!!

All the mobiles at work are down (Vodaphone)
We have just been informed by the IT dept who'v spoken to Vodafone and been told that there is a problem in the Sheffield area and they are on it now trying to repair it ...

:edit: been told Sheffield & Rotherham are down - expected backup by 11:00-11:30 (One of the guys rang customer services)

my battery need charging not much point charging it.

If it helps.. for the past hour or so I've been unable to make a mobile call (Vodafone) as it reckons the Network is busy. If they're doing maintenance, would make sense they could take less capacity..

I'm on Voda, no signal all day so far... I pay £20 a month for this?! :rant:

Just had this month's bill for my contract as well, £26 64 in total for all calls and line rental.

i was just going to start a thread on this, ever since this morning i cant ring out on my vodaphone mobile, first it was saying something, then it was saying 'no network coverage' and now it is 'network busy' i have tried phoning 2 vodaphone mobiles, and 2 land-lines with no joy, yet i have telephoned my friend who is on 3 and my dad who is on Orange and have got through!!! what the heck is happening????

Lol, I gave up on Mine in the end. I guessed it would be some sort of outage and the replies confirm this.

So how many people just about or did destroy their mobiles trying to work out what the problem was? Do you think VodaFone should compensate us :hihi:
