I bought my son this phone a few weeks ago, second hand, today the screen is only displaying the Nokia logo, nothing else and it won't turn off unless you take the battery out. Does anyone have any ideas.

Get in touch with whoever you bought it off in the first instance... Maybe they knew about this fault when they sold you the phone..

If so, get a refund and buy a proper NEW phone with the money.

I would have thought if it was sold as seen then you have no rights to a refund. I can't see anyone admitting to the phone being faulty when sold.

As for i fix you might want to try any of the phone shops in town and seeing if you can get a software flash for it it, might fix it. Might be worth just getting a new phone tho.
