Hi, im interested in a day of water sports, white water, sailing, wind surfing.

where is the nearest/best place to go in this area?

I know you can sail on winscar reservoir and holme peirre point in Nottingham does it all, but anywhere closer?

I believe they also do water sports on the Lady Bower river in Derbyshire, drive up Manchester Road towards the Snake and then head towards Glossop to get there.

what about the Nottingham National Water Sports Centre?
