Ok, i know nearly all video games that are made into films usually turn out to be a pile of crapola,Street Fighter,Mortal Kombat & Super Mario Bros springs to mind. :shakes:
But there must be some games out there what would make awsome movies. My picks are:
Metal Gear Solid - You could make a whole series of movies to go with the games. The games have got really good story lines and i think they'd work well as a film.
max Payne - Would be a blatant matrix rip-off but- lots of guns + lots of bullet time = 8)
Syindicate - Big companys sending teams of heavily armed cyborgs out to shoot and kidnap each other,sounds good to me!

Anyone got anymore??????????

I like XIII, that may make a good film or how about for something completely different the Oddesey collection featuring Abe the alien.

Well, Resident Evil wasnt bad, and the sequels out soon as well. Theyre reportedly working on Doom: The Movie as well. GTA: Vice City would make a pretty good film. Maybe Half Life as well.

I'm pretty sure that i've seen it at sometime. Fighting games that are made into movies really do seem to suck. Not really a fighting game but Dead or Alive : Extreme Beach Volleyball could possible make a good film,lol!!!!!!!!!! :o :D

GTA Vice City could be made into a movie I think.

I used to have a game for the Amiga called 'It came from the Desert' which I think could have been made into a film.

Wing Commander.... A proper animated job not the crap live action thing from a couple of years ago.

IMO that's part of the problem with video game to movie crossovers, they should stick to animated affairs rather than live action, because video games are animated anyway so it makes sense to make any video game based movie an animated one.

The Soul Reaver/Legacy of Kain series would make good films. Good verses evil vampires, cant go wrong with that! :twisted:

Jet Set Willy or Manic Miner. Or what about Chuckie Egg!
