Hi,
Can you refill Epson ink cartridges (mine is the 915)??
Also if you cant, which are the best 'non' Epson cartridges in for quality and price?.
Also when the colour cartridge runs out and I am printing in BLACK only it wont allow it to do so, is there a way round this???
Many Thanks in advance
Ive got a photo 900, and I buy my cartridges from www.inkcycle.co.uk . never had any throuble with them, and the quality is just as good as the genuine epson cartridges.

I have a C70 and have discovered that inside the cartridge is a cardboard ink reservoir that only has a limited life before it goes all pulpy, so they can't be refilled.
I also have the same problem in that I only print out in black but the printer fails to print if any of the other cartridges are empty. You can buy a chip programmer to give the printer false information about the ink tanks. It costs about £15.
I ususally buy compatable cartridges from Cartridge World. According to their website there are branches at Firth Park and Ecclesall.
You can buy ink of Ebay at really good prices but I've not done this.
I've used Print Consumables (www.printconsumables.com) for my Epson cartridges for a couple of years and my dad's used them for ages.
Usually arrive in about 2 days and if there's any hitch at all they'll ring you and explain. They've got to be some of the most helpful internet retailers I've used.
They also sell different 'levels' of economy cartridges, I always use the very cheapest and they're fine.
I use the printerinkfinder.co.uk site which is not bad for finding good deals
