I half believed all the Y2K hype and stocked up on tins and supplies, just in case!

That Y2K thing was a load of arse designed by IT companies to con people into buying new PCs for the Millennium.

The world will end when it ends IMO, but hopefully not in my life time.

I think the world will end naturally millions of years from now.. however, I think the human 'world' is tottering on the edge right now. You only need to witness how we generally flounder as a race when we run out of petrol or electricity to see we don't stand a chance.
