I've just got this link off another forum, and I thought it applied here too

I think all forum members should be made to watch it before being allowed to register on any forum, don't you? I know i've made some of these mistakes in the past....

Posting and YOU! (http://pyro.buildtolearn.net/misc/posting.swf)

I've just forwarded it to the mods of another group I'm involved with.

It's a shockwave application. Maybe you need to fiddle with the shockwave thingy whatsit settings? Or pehaps something a bit more technical, but along those lines? :) .

That was fantastic, beansforyou! Quick, someone make it a sticky!

Now, get outside, you forum whore ;) .

Out...side.... :help:

I got it off an ebay forum, the OP there had got it off another forum...and so on...

I don't see what relevance being 'old' has? If someone's not seen something before, and it's funny, what does it matter if it's old? I've been online for about 10 years and I haven't seen it before, so theres a chance others haven't either ~ share the wealth

I hadn't seen it before; I found it quite amusing. My beef is with posters who use this symbol :loopy: which, I feel, tends to inflame debate unnecessarily. A perfectly acceptable response can immediately appear insulting to the OP or last poster.

Beans, I'm with you on this one.

Some people just want to look like they're cool because they've seen it before. Ner ner ner ner ner nerrrrrr.

I thought it was funny anyway. So pffft.

I have the up-to-date Shockwave. I have no idea how to "fiddle with" the settings and, as I'm just getting a completely blank webpage when I click on that link, I've no idea where I can adjust the settings either.

Do you have a firewall/browser setting which blocks applications like that from running automatically?

But what would you have searched for? The title could have been anything. I think you're let off :) .

I totally agree - I think that is quite an obnoxious symbol.

Ditto, I thought it was hilarious - I've not been around the internet for very long.
