Does anyone fancy joining us on a leisurely cycle round ladybower on the 5th November-meet at fairholmes car park.

Sounds like a great idea Jo but SYPTE get a bit shirty when you plonk a bike on the fairholmes bus. :huh: I think you have to book in advance.

Oh, I didnt think about people without cars... maybe a cycle around the canal and 5 weirs walk would be better...?

id do the ride thing to get to lady bower by myself no worries there,
not shure how id feel riding back :hihi: its been a few years since i did it there..all around..and back,

I don't think there is actually a lot in it as to which is tougher, cycling there or cycling back. If I was around on the 5th I'd cycle there and back but I'm away that weekend.

I was thinking of driving there and then having a "leisurely" cycle round...

riding there and back isn't a problem,but add in the 12 miles or so riding round and im looking at around 45 miles :o
il have a word with one of the mates (pretty much at the start of his cycling endeavours :hihi: ) see if we'l go up in the car,

im still working on getting a lift with a mate,but it doesn't look too good,
besides sunday at 1pm im usualy getting stuck into the sunday dinner :hihi:
as i say il still try to blag the lift,but i doulbt il be there if not :rolleyes:
had to end a ride early the other day as i was grinding metal on metal with the brakes,
my bike aint it good shape at the mo :rolleyes:
