Mr Alberto Fernandez says that when he accused America of stupidity and arrogance in Iraq he misspoke (?).What did he mean to say ?
Compassion and understanding?
Foresight and intelligence ?
I think he got it right first time, (this view in no way reflects government policy).

What he meant to say was "no, I don't want to be fired." :hihi:

He doesn't actually say that he has changed his mind or that he does not believe what he said to be true, purely that as a representative of that administration whatever he says can be taken as the 'voice and thoughts' of the administration.

So he mispoke by saying what he thought and not being a good little worker bee.

What did he mean to say ?

He did the interview in Arabic I believe and so may have been lulled into a false sense of security. He didn't count on anyone in Washington being bright enough to get a translation!
