black or silver cars are supposed to have a better re-sale price, saw this on the beeb, but hey what do i know.

my car is a silver fto, with a few scratches around the side and on the bonnet, the wheels & alloys need to be changed and im budgiting around £2500-3000 for the lot and a bit more if need be.

im going to iraq on the 1st of november so i have plenty time to get things sorted ( 7 months ) :(.

Well your wheels and tyres will have a major impact on your paint budget.
If you assume £1000, you'll be left with £1500-£2000, which isn't enough for flip paint anyway.

does anyone keep a car long enough to respray in this thow away society we live in allthough my van needs a respray transit any bids on price :thumbsup:

iv also been thinking about changing the exaust system,

needing an arch and a sill poss wing to get her pretty again about £40 + respray
would be nice money low at min but would be nice :cool:
