Was wondering if anyone can help me... have seen it spelt differently on seperate maps n on different advertisements and am not sure where to look or who to ask?
Thanks :D

Frecheville (S12) - pronounced "Freshville"
Alex
Definitely with a E. I've lived there all my life so I know LOL
We get every spelling imaginable, Freshville, Frenchville, Frechville etc.
And try saying it to a taxi driver when you've had a pint or two.
Welcome to the area anyway!
oh and, Alex's right, it's pronounced FRESHville not FRETCHville.

Thanks very much you guys!
I looked at loads of maps n it always says with an E, but when we went to view the house we're now living in (thanks for the welcome too!) we went to the local chippy... Admiral i think it is... n on their receipt it said with no E...
Yes i know, silly from trusting a chippy in the area for the spelling but i did search on this forum too n could find both spellings which confused me further... but thanks for clearing this up, much appreciated! :D
The chippy is good though.. it appears to be run by eastern europeans at the moment so we can forgive them for the wrong spellings.. as long as they keep selling half whales and buckets of chips LOL
