I'm posting this message after reading the post about the man who got beat up outside Co-op at Woodhouse.
I was on the 14 bus (Meadowhall to Rotherham Centre) earlier this week. The bus was just about to go into the Ferham area when someone rang the bell, they were sat behind me. The bus stopped then an alarm went off. We all looked round to see that two Youth's had exited the bus at the back through the emergency exit. We thought idiots why didn't they leave like normal people through the front? Then a fellow passenger told us that they had grabbed his shopping bags and had run off!! Stealing some shoes and clothes he had bought. The daft thing is other passengers knew their names and one of them even dropped his Bank Card and a Bus Pass with a picture of him on it. The bus driver dropped the victim off at the Police station, I doubt the crminals will enjoy their booty for long.... :hihi:

so what they dropped the id all the police will do is give them a caution or if they are sent to court they'll get is a few hours community service (which they either won't do or nick more stuff while their doing it)
Serves them right droppinf their I.D! Hope they get caught
Thats one of two reasons I sit next to the fire exit, so any toe-rag that tries this takes a large trip on the way out.

I once got attacked by peashooter wielding chavs on the 14.
Were these your average idiots with fast food chain straws and the paper wrapper chewed up or were they the more advanced type with plastic pipes and hardened peas?
I followed a bus where kids were doing this out of the window, a good few years back, on to the cars around it. After a few direct hits on my car I stopped the bus, went upstairs with the driver and confronted them. Suddenly they changed from cocky kids to apologising children as they were made to get off the bus by the driver.
I don't think people like this realise that peas are hard objects and when fired like this can be very dangerous. Admitedly my car can take a hit like this without damage, but they were also firing at pedestrians and that's risky.

Different 14 - I think you mean the 14 in Sheffield? The OP was talking about the 14 in Rotherham. Different route altogether.
