View Full Version : Snoring...help needed please!
astronaut77 21-10-2006, 00:03 Just got home from night out in town and after one too many drinks, husband is currently snoring his head off beside me in bed.
Any ideas how to shut him up? (Already thought of putting pillow over his head, but don't want to be sent to jail for manslaughter).
whack him and wake him up:hihi:
lady linz 21-10-2006, 00:06 told his nose or hit him in the ribs hope u get sum sleep
put some pepper under his nose:hihi:
astronaut77 21-10-2006, 00:10 LOL thanks for the advice, you've made me giggle at least!
Have tried "accidently" hitting him, but it doesn't seem to make a difference, he's out like a light.
I did try moving him onto his side but he just grunted then moved back onto his back again.
Looks like a night on the sofa for me!!
Oh god I think it's getting louder.
Bikertec 21-10-2006, 00:11 If he has two pillows take one away, or take all his pillows away and get him to sleep on his back works for me.
lady linz 21-10-2006, 00:11 put his fingers in sum cold water this will make him pee himself but will stop him snoring 4 abit ha ha ha
Bikertec 21-10-2006, 00:12 failing that get some ear plugs from your local bike store.;)
haha aren't we nice to men:hihi: lump hammer might work
astronaut77 21-10-2006, 00:17 HAHAHA the hammer and pee trick made me laugh. Although if he wees the bed - i'm in it too... may just stick to the hammer.
Bloody men and their drink!!! Obviously us women are perfect...and don't snore!
my mum and dad both snore it's like a duet! They wonder why i moved out at an early age i had no sleep for years:hihi:

lady linz 21-10-2006, 00:23 why do we snore do u know and why is it called snoring
astronaut77 21-10-2006, 00:24 Jena - I hear you my love. My parents snore like no-one else i've ever known, it's kinda like music in a wierd kind of way.
And birtek - I hate to admit but my mum and my sister are the loudest snorers known to man...
Maybe it's just me who's perfect :-)
Ooh movement from the husband... he just had a quick look to see what I was up to then turned over and started snoring again.
I think it's the tapping on the keyboard that woke him up. Poor thing...
why do we snore do u know and why is it called snoring
men do it because they act like pigs all day so why should night be any different.:hihi:

codeman_cas 21-10-2006, 00:37 Go to boots and get a `snore ring` , it goes on your little finger and presses a pressure point , and yes i laughed when my wife bought me one but it DOES work, put it on when you get in bed and it bloody stops me snoring , cool
