Do bear in mind that Dempseys is a Gay venue, but all kinds of straight people also happily frequent the place, and it is easy enough to apply for a membership card there which is necessary for anyone wanting to arrive after 10pm. The last time i went into the moorfoot although it was a couple of years ago it had really gone down hill with lots of drunks, a distinct lack of proper management and a strong smell of drugs in the place.
