our rabbit is 6months old his eyes have started running .could anyone give us some advice oh hes indoors as well .thanks

Is he sitting in any draughts? Rabbits can get sore eyes from sitting in the cold. Also does he have any spots on his eyes (like little white circles that look like they're floating on his eye?)

He could need his tear ducts flushing, or have something in his eye. Also, check his teeth (front AND back) to make sure they arent over grown, because it could be that which is causing it.

In either case, I'd get him down to your vet to have him checked up. If its his teeth causing it it could really be hurting him. Rabbits are good at hiding their pain.

Oh and what breed is he? Is he a lop? These problems are more common than not in lops.

Hes not got an white spots and his teeth are fine,he had this problem when he was outside too thats why we brought him in for the winter,its clear stuff coming from his eyes like tears.Not sure what breed he is but hes a star

Ah how big is he? Make sure you take him to a rabbit savvy vet - some vets pretend they know what they're on about but they don't, unfortunately :(

Anita at hunters bar is really good with buns. It sounds like a tear duct infection/ blockage to me. I had a rabbit with this, usually needs some drop from the vets. It is possible it has come from saw dust which has too small particles if you use it, is his nose running too?
