I'm not sure if it's possible for someone to be an expert in this field but this seemed the most appropriate area to post this!
Basically me and my boyfriend are looking to go away on holiday in mid-September. We're not bothered about the board (it seems that Self-Catering+Eating Out usally equals the cost of an All Inclusive holiday for example), but we would like good value for money, and a good standard.
So, I was just wondering if anyone could reccommend a travel agent, whether it is by phone, internet or an actual branch of a travel agents who are cheap/helpful etc.
Or are there any companies you'd reccommend we avoid?
Thanks!

We use First Choice Hypermarket to book ours.

I don't know anyone who's booked one but mytravel.com do an auction and the prices seem to stay reasonably cheap. Thomson do the same sort of thing through ebay.
Another thing to try, is to drive down to East Midlands airport on the day you want to fly, and go into the travel shop there, they have some great deals on last minute holidays. the only snag with this is that you have to be really flexibe as to where you go.

Yes I do know the date, but the question was value for money not cheap.
Click my sig below.Wife and I went for 2 weeks, not cheap to get there but only spent £238 in that time, this includes 1 bottle Absolut, 400 fags, pair 22ct gold earrings (Dubai duty free). Also loads of pencils, crayons notebooks etc.for a local school we went to.The rest went mainly on bottles of water and tips to hotel staff.Plenty of companies do these deals, beware flying Royal Brunei Airlines though.
