does anyone know of any good walks in the countryside where i can let my dog off the lead where there are no sheep around?

Stannige edge is quite good swarm, and Redmires and around there. Last time I went up there wasn't any sheep on Stannige but there is sometimes I think. Theres quite a few walks up near there that you can avoid sheep and let them off to have a good run around.

Edit: You might want to put this in the Pets group forum as people are always discussing things like this there.

The pets walkers default to the walking group for walks on the whole ;)

Last time we were in that neighbourhood Jess, there were sheep.
Luckily Brude's scared of them if anything.

Totley woods is a favourite haunt of ours, as is the new enclosed footpaths near whirlow farm :thumbsup:

I expect it'll become a much more urgent issue in the spring. I don't wanna get shot.
