Did anyone see Channel Four's Cutting Edge documentary on "The F***ing Fulfords" last night?
In the space of ten minutes he was racist, homophobic and made fun of the disabled.
There were countless other things which left me open jawed, I'll leave you to mention what amazed you!
Stunning entertaining television I thought. What a character that guy is! I could almost hear various groups close-minded people reaching for their letter paper to write in and complain. In this politically correct era it is refreshing to see someone feel they're able to freely state their opinions. Whether one agrees with the opinions is of course another matter.
On a slightly lighter note...
...I can't believe the mother threw the kid's TV in the pond/lake.

I too was disgusted with his racist views and comments about the disabled and wonder about the effect this will have on his 4 kids growing up.
His wife must be mad too, how the hell she puts up with him and that house, I don't know. The best bit was when she threw the telly in the lake - without a doubt!!!
In his favour.... (and after my disgust expressed earlier this is hard to do....) his attitude to let his kids have fun and not regiment their life too much was refreshing in a day and age when most kids are wrapped in cotton wool and kept indoors playing computer games. Then again, having you own estate to play in probably accounts for this. if he lived in the middle of a housing estate full of potential dangers, he may think differently.
compulsive viewing whether you liked him or not......

Am I the only person who thought it was a wind up? It was just too good (or bad) to be true surely. The bit where the mother bet her last £100 on a horse, won thousands and then blew it all on herself was what tipped it from fact to fantasy for me.

Very funny to think that these people ran the country for a 1000 years!

and during that time this country's empire covered a large portion of the globe making this country one of the most powerful and prosperous world forces, fuelling design, industrialisation and innovation.

Is it true that they've been given a series?
