All knitters know that it can be expensive, what with the weekly yarn purchases. I didn't realise it was quite this (http://www.amazon.co.uk/s?ie=UTF8&keywords=Knitting&rh=n%3A68%2Ck%3AKnitting&page=1) expensive though :o .

The books must be simply out of print and very rare. Maybe they've been recommended in some course or other and a few people have been trying to track them down, hence the price inflation by sellers who've taken notice.

Either that, or they really are hand-printed by naked virgin shetlanders.
