I stumbled across this blog because the lovely lady that runs it keeps sending us (k9knitters) donations from her stash bag - and it's lovely stuff. Her blog focus is on spinning and has some good tips on use of dyes etc.

Do we have any active spinners in the group? The whole topic sounds really interesting....and would love to find somewhere where I could have a 'taster' session. Anyone know of anywhere that does this?

Woolspinster is a spinner (you don't say! :hihi:) . Beansforyou has also recently taken up the spindle. I'm very interested in spinning too, though I've yet to have a go at it. Beansforyou was kind enough to pick up some spinning supplies for me from Wingham Wool Work, which are now at my mum's waiting for me to collect them.
