Ok so this isn't the real help I need but it is on the same lines.
As some of you know I recently got married and my wife is a huge fan of two celebrities.

Patrick Swayze (Dirty Dancing Generation Gal) - even had Time of Our Lives for our first dance.

Matt Damon (WTF:confused: ) - she thinks he's well nice for some reason.

First anniversary's (I know it's a year away yet) are paper and I thought as a special treat I would see if it were possible to get some signed stuff from her favourite celebs.
I was thinking a signed picture of Swayze and maybe a little letter to her personalised (maybe tricky).

Something similar from Matt Damon too, but Swayze is the one she'd pick if she had to choose.
Anyway I wanted to know if anyone knew the best way to go about this. I know some will say fan clubs, but how reliable are they? Would the email/letter I sent in even get seen by either of the stars?

Yes Yes I know they're busy and have real lives, but this is very important to me and I think it would make the perfect gift for our first anniversary. I just don't want the usual pre-printed goop which has no personal meaning of any kind, I want something unique.

Maybe I'm asking too much, who knows, but I'll never know unless I try. Anyone know how I should start? Any experience first hand of any of this?

Have done a bit of detective work of my own and managed to speak to swayze's Agents PA and got some useful info.

Next move - Matt Damon:D

Best thing would be to try Ebay for signed movie memorabillia (not sure if I spelled that right, Mods feel free to correct it if need be).

I haven't really had a personal experience of this, but I am assured by a mate that if you have got as far as spaeking to the celeb's PA etc; they should be pretty forthcoming as to this simple request. I guess these celebs are romantics at heart so should fulfil your request no bother.

Dont think you'll find Patrick Swayze pulled out with too much these days!!!

You could probably ask him for a video-message. The thought of getting in front of a camera again will possibly prompt him to record a 2hour message for Mrs B.
