I notice your name is Lisa. Phonetically, this sounds remarkably like a diminutive version of 'Lizard'. Are you really a lizard in human form? And is the number 68 the mark of the beast in Lizardian eschatology? I think we should be told.

I am still not convinced that you are not in fact a lizard and are not part of a nefarious plot to take over the forum. I notice that there are an appreciable number of other 'Lisas' on SF, which leads me to believe that the plot is already well advanced. I also have my suspicions that several of the moderators are also Lizards.

I have read "the biggest secret" and with an open mind, I hasten to add.

For me though it's a bit beyond anything that could be truth. My opinion of David Ike was solidified when I saw him on (of all things) through the keyhole years ago and a documentary about him.

In "through the keyhole" he had a small bookshelf with his favourite insiprational books on, all of them were like childhood science fiction that you find in a charity shop as those who bought them originally thought they were tosh too. This sparked my doubts about his sanity if these were his "reference" books. It also appeared that his wife had kicked him out and he was forced to live in some type of bedsit.

In the documentary his was just plain rude and offensive to people and had the behaviour patterns of someone with mental illness. This made me doubt his credibility. He doesn't convinve me of anything in the slightest.

he's made a nice living out of it so good luck to him. My advice is that someone with mental illness can appear very plausible and convincing, keep your wits about you.

That's quite rude. Not really spreading the love, are you?:nono:

If you want to read a bit more about Icke, then Jon Ronson interviewed him for (I think) his book "Them". It seemed that his ramblings about lizards and higher powers were linked to the anti-Jew/Zionist theories (covered on this forum recently). Icke also cited lots of documents, some of which contained blatantly anti-semitic writings and cartoons.

He's not as all-loving as he's made out to be. As Titian says, he gave the impression of someone struggling with a lot of mental health issues.

I'm not surprised if this is the case.

I'm not making any comment about David Icke - but Terry Wogan did make a bad habit of trying to ridicule some of his guests, which if nothing else is incredibly bad manners. If you've invited someone on your show, have the decency to treat them with some respect.

The time when Vivienne Westwood was on his show - with a selection of her designs for the forthcoming season - was a particularly nasty example. She was ridiculed and humiliated throughout her time-slot by presenter and audience alike - it was very unpleasant to watch, and I felt embarrassed for anyone connected with the programme - it was an unbelievably nasty and unprofessional showing.

Lisa68, do you personally believe all of mr Ickes theories? For example that the Queen is a Satanist, child - killer and shape-shifting reptilian? I wonder if you could share any of Mr Ickes evidence for this belief with us please as it seems a rather unusual thing to believe about our monarch without strong evidence. At least some of the founders of the world's great religions (or major religious sects) were probably just as deluded, or just as cynically mendacious, as Icke. Its his misfortune to have been born in an age where bizarre claims of the kind he regularly makes tend not to be taken at their face value (although Ron Hubbard managed to make a good living out of the new 'religion' he founded).

I remember David Icke was thrown out of Canada a few years ago for anti semetic remarks. He was touring the tv and radio stations telling everybody that alien lizards ruled the world. He was saying that the royal family, Clinton etc were all shape shifting alien lizards.

Everybody kept on saying that he was using lizards as a metaphor for Jewish people, he said that the lizards run the banking systems etc.

It did not matter how much he protested and said that he was not talking about Jewish people nobody thought that he was actually mad enough to think that shape shifting lizards rule the world.

Its seems like he is a mad individual in a mad world.

I think the introduction of the microchip implant in the future will convince you, which the ID card is a stepping stone.if you have done your research you will know that David Icke warned us If you have looked at the newspapers recently you are now going to have to wear a microchip on your wrist to be able to fly.Need i say more?In America the microchip has been launched with massive publicity so watch this space.

Lisa, have you read anything about Icke which wasn't written by the man himself?
Absolutely there are people around the world who are backing up Davids work, in book forms, radio talk shows, and if he was insane has people are trying to make out then people would not waste their time making documentaries on him.Look out for a new documentary which is coming out on channel 5 entitled WAS DAVID ICKE RIGHT?.You might want to go on DavidIcke.com or Infowars.com with Alex Jones.Lots of credible people back up David Ickes work.Hope this has been helpful:love:

read David Icke in his own (selected) words. He's bought into someone else's NWO conspiracy. He used to claim he was channeling the Christ Spirit and wore a lot of turquoise.

David Icke went through his own transformation. If someone else is saying the same thing as David then this just proves my point.thanks for that.

Odd, I thought this thread was about him?

Lisa68, do you personally believe all of mr Ickes theories? For example that the Queen is a Satanist, child - killer and shape-shifting reptilian? I wonder if you could share any of Mr Ickes evidence for this belief with us please as it seems a rather unusual thing to believe about our monarch without strong evidence. I wonder who the children are that Queen Elizabeth has killed?
Thanks in anticipation of your reply.
This is not David Ickes idea of shape shifting reptiles.Going to 40 different countries, on his travels he came across members of the public who approached him on this subject.Obviously being from different countries,he thought he had to get the information out to the public at large. This is Davids role,to obtain information and to share with the public information that does not normally get into the public arena. The media just gives you one version of the events,David gives you information and allows you to make up your own mind. The story of shapeshifting reptilians goes back thousands of years and David Icke is not unique in this subject. This can be researched. The allegations about the royal family should be open for debate, there are lots of things happening in the world that we are not aware of and the reptilian theme is not even the tip of the iceberg.Research has gone a lot further than this now.

Lisa68

At least some of the founders of the world's great religions (or major religious sects) were probably just as deluded, or just as cynically mendacious, as Icke. Its his misfortune to have been born in an age where bizarre claims of the kind he regularly makes tend not to be taken at their face value (although Ron Hubbard managed to make a good living out of the new 'religion' he founded).
Why is it that when anyone comes out with a different version of reality which can be backed up by credible information, they become a religious leader in some peoples eyes?Do you say that to your teachers when you first start your education?

[QUOTE=JFKvsNixon]I remember David Icke was thrown out of Canada a few years ago for anti semetic remarks.

__________________[/QUO There is a media frenzy about disproving David Icke all the time.you either believe the media or look at the evidence yourself with an open mind. There is no sufficient evidence to show that David Icke has ever been anti-semetic or that he was thrown out of Canada.

it is a pity that some people hold a grudge about something that happened 15 years ago.Have you read his latest work? An enormous transformation has since happened.I am not gullible just open to other peoples oppinions and this should be respected whether you disagree or not.Insults are not an oppinion.People need to have an open mind and not condemn someone whose only mission is to free the world.
Lisa, I don't need to read anything! Also, I do not bear a grudge, as you put it!

He was on a tv programme only a few months' ago, and he was still spouting the same deluded rubbish.

Also, you say that you're open to other people's opinions, but everytime those opinions are expressed, you're telling those opinion-givers that they should read a book! That is not being open to other people's opinions, but just you trying to convert people to your way of thinking, because you seem to believe that only your beliefs are right.

You are really beginning to sound as though you've been brainwashed by a religious cult. You joined SF two days' ago, in which time you have made 40 posts, 30 of which are on this thread, and nearly every post you have made on this thread has been nearly identical to the last, in which you keep telling people to read a book, but you do not express anything that actually comes from you. Do you actually have anything else to say that is going to come from your head, or is it that you are now incapable of expressing your own view?

It is like banging your head against a wall with some people. The reason I have posted a lot of posts is that I have been asked questions and being a polite person I am answering them.I do not expect to be insulted for my beliefs. This is a free country as far as free speech goes and by the way who is counting?I suggest reading a book because Obviously I have not got the space to tell you everything and I respect people enough to let them do their own research. It is up to you whether you believe me or not I am only passing on information by request. If you have read all the posts as you claim to have you will see this.I dont know where you have got religious cult from I have not even mentioned religion those are your words not mine.If you want to have a civil conversation or have any further questions please contact me.

at this point i would like to state the following:

i think that there have been numerous theories of alien/human interbreeding over the last couple of thousand years, a tradition that icke and his mates are continuing to this day.

i also think that at the top of the political, financial and aristocratic hierachies there are some powerful (and often linked by family/heritage) affliations. It is clear that they can and sometimes do influence events on a global scale.

The move towards a centralised 'world government', with id cards and all the associated cack, is happening, and will result in further restriction of civil liberties, overtly for the 'safety' of the citizen but supplant that word for 'subjugation' and we have something closer to the truth.

the notion that we are simply here in isolation, on a planet whos conditions are so unique as to preclude the chance of intelligent life elsewhere, is dodgier than the smell exuding from my fila trainers.

ive never seen a reptillian/human shapeshifter. ive not yet been able to 'activate' my junk dna and fly through walls. i keep trying the derren brown stuff at my local shop but i still end up getting the right change back.

in short, i hardly know anything about anything. but at the same time, you have to wonder, what is it that we REALLY know..?

i mean, things which cannot be doubted.

of course, there are the tautological ones, which are a bit pointless here cos they describe the answer in the question.

even Bertrand got himself a bit carried away with his 'obstensive definition' ideas, which largely amounted to the same thing.

but unambiguous knowledge of the operations of the world/universe? we come pretty close with a few things here and there, but there will still remain areas of doubt.

these are good, as they allow us to enhance/change/adapt theories and make useful developments. and if we look at whats happened over time it looks like that 'line of best fit' pretty much works. we are all (mostly) sensible, and dont spend too much time fretting about being abducted by midgets in silver jumpers.

yet in my mind i cannot absolutely rule out the possibility of life elsewhere. and if i cannot rule this out, then i cannot rule out the possibility that it could have already got here and got jiggy with a few of our birds over time. if those birds were powerful or have powerful families, then you start to see that a bit of alien reptile rumpy with the right people could have dramatic results.

im not attempting to fortify this argument with any great deal of substance, as i havent got the time (dinners on the way - result) but just think about the possibilities. just for a second.

either you are still with me or are already foaming at the mouth with righteous rhetoric being funneled down through those shaking fingertips. whatevers cool with me, im just sat here looking forward to eating some food.

anyway, dave could be on the inside track.

or him and his mates could be mentally ill.

kind of funny which ever way you look at it.

but you see, i would rather entertain the possibility that the loons of this world are actually onto something, than sit on my fat arse sipping overpriced coffee, recycling a tin can once a month, and believing what they tell you on the news. while attempting to learn exotic recipes to impress your mates. who wear nice trousers.

ANYWAY.

its all utter rubbish. all of it. the world is knackered, and its being knackered by these cosey rich influencial d!ckheads we all either dispise or seek to emulate. you are a fool if you believe otherwise. the reptile bit at the end you can add it or not, makes no difference to the present.

I believe in the possibility of shapeshifting reptile human hybrids.

THEY LIVE.

Talking of slightly bonkers alien/religion theories.... is anyone familar with the Aetherius Society?

They have one of their World Centres at Birdwell, just off junction 36 of the M1.

I often wondered what they were, and once read an article about them. Seems to boil down to believing that Jesus is on Venus, and that spiritual/prayer energy can be stored in batteries and sent to wherever in the world it might be needed. So they have prayer sessions for victims of natural disasters etc. When challenged (in the article), along the lines of "yes, but despite your prayers, thousands died," the stock response seemed to be, "Well, it could have been a lot worse!"

Quite entertaining in a slightly barmy sort of way!
