Has anyone had any probems with tesco on line, for the past three times i have shopped their it has been an absolute nightmare.
1st ended up squashed breadcakes
2nd half order mine half some body elses,so they had to return the following day again with wrong stuff ,got no apologie had to sit in all day then they tried to charge me delivery again eventually got the nappies that i ordered from the staff in the warehouse who came 3 hrs later i phoned and complained
at headoffice to be put on hold they eventually said they would waver the delivery charge and if i trusted them again they wouldnt charge me for delivery ,so i gave them the benefitof the douupt, placed yet another order and had it delivered with 1 item missing .

Yes!! I boycott them now!!

I placed an online order and waited for it to be delivered. About half an hour after the end of the delivery time I phoned up to find out where my food was, only to be told the drivers wouldn't deliver in the area and so I wasn't getting my stuff...

Nice of them to let me know! Gits!

i use them quite often, never had no probs.

purplepippa-they should ave told you if your area was available for delivery when you did a postcode check.
before you made any order.
i cant understand why they didn't.

We used to use them, then they went downhill a bit. We use Asda now, and theyre much better.

We used them once and found it a pain in the arse. Tesco's were fine it was just the web site based shopping thing we didnt like.

We dont want to use them or any other again but Tesco's keep sending me email's advertizing they wares.

Cant remember my password to cancel it and can't be arsed to mess with it , just keep deleating them.

Answer is to read all online forms carefully.

Uncheck boxes like "YES! I would like to be kept informed...receive updates..." before clicking submit.

Also look for and beware "dodgy" wordings and double-negatives like "No. Please never send me no information" on some less scrupulous sites.

Otherwise just use a hotmail or yahoo account for signing up to stuff and just use your main one for important/personal contacts
