Me and my house mate are trying to get broadband in to Thurgoland. I wanted to know if there are any groups already set up or if any one eles is intrested in helping to get broadband in this area.

We had our line cheacked over a month ago and they said we are just to far.. so i want to try and get some support togeather to get the lines inproved up here. They seem to be building more houses up here but not improving the phone service.

well if they install another tel. exchange. Other than that you are outa luck. BT like to save money. Being a few billion in dept doesnt help em either :P

try telewest or NTL. You might be able to get a cable connection. :)

Depending on how much you want broadband, as a last resort you could always try.

i have looked in to this as well.. the Ping is no good for games great for downloading.
