Does anyone else have any superstitions about Friday the 13th? I don't really take it too seriously, however I'm sat here waiting to set off to work and I can't help but feel uneasy. Maybe I'll drive slower on the motorway!

Nope, I'm completely without superstition. Nothing untoward has ever happened to me on Friday 13th.

No. i only just realised now though that it was, i've had my birthday on friday the thirteenth a couple of times and I was 13 on the 13th (of august) on a friday the thirteenth *twilight music* lol, which didn't bother me much, it sounds pretty cool but my mum thought it was a big deal bless her! I'd always be wary on the roads on fridays anyway, usually idiots taking chances desperate to get home and start the weekend i've found.

Although for the sake of superstition that i dont believe in :hihi: may everyone have a safe and happy day :D

Well the day passed without any injury/crash or anything else awful. In fact, it was quite a good day!

Well I worked on a woven embroidery piece all morning, then spent most of the afternoon unpicking a good chunk of it  . I choose to blame Friday 13th rather than my incompetence and general crapness :hihi: .

why is this posted in the sheffield knitting group? Am I missing something?

No particular reason apart from the fact that I consider it a community that I am a part of and like to share ideas with whether knitting related or not.

Aaaaw Hecate! I know that feeling. I spent all evening on a shawl I am knitting and then spent the two following evenings unpicking it all. It makes you feel so much better when you can blame someone or something other than yourself :)

Well, if this is your first post in the knitting group, then yes, you're missing lots :) .

Friday 13th was brilliant because most of it was spent at the Knitting and Stitching show and then I went to play in Hamleys and had an ice cream. Knitting, toys and frozen dairy products - perfect day :)
