I thought that to celebrate National Knitting week a real life knitting session would be a good idea! Friday 20th October at the Wetherspoon's opposite John Lewis 7-9.

Jill is getting it mentioned in the Star, and the Rowan people at John Lewis are going to try and get as many people coming along as they can.

Please tell every knitter that you know even if you can't come yourself.

I'll be wearing my clapotis!

(Hecate, could you make this sticky?)

As I'm currently in the back of beyond (well, deepest, darkest Leicestershire), I can't make it to the meeting tonight. But to all who are going, have a great evening :) .

Did you all have a good time? I was sorry I couldn't be there. Look forward to any chat and photos.

Business or pleasure? Sounds like fun, though it sounds bloody terrifying a bit scarey.

Pleasure:D You were right the first time before you crossed it out BTW:D I found it very scarey - trusting that a car that seemed to be spinning out of control would not flip over:o I was not a natural at controlling the skid but did get much better;)
