I want to write my own book based on my lifes events. Similar to an autobiography but not if you know what I mean.

I have attempted to do it before but got extrememly bored trying to write it. I could talk all day about the events and people always like to hear them.

I know of one person that has written something along the similar lines and has done extremely well from it.

This book would be based on pure fact and not fiction.

I would like to get someone to write this book for me like the celebs do is this possible and what would the cost be?

What your after is a ghost writer .They don't come cheap but it would be and interesting challenge for someone to do as a project.

What if you looked at the work that's been done on here ,i think there are one or two that would rise to the occasion .

I await the offers. I am planning on selling this book so the reward could be high.

I honestly dont think an ordinary persons life would interest other people. Its alright on here, because we can read it for free, but would people buy it ?You have to be a celeb(even though they have ghost writers) or memories of a very interesting occupation like a vet ,farmer or doctor. Its just something Ive always personally thought.Your life memories would be for your own satisfaction.

This would be based on my career in the forces.

Well certainly Andy McNab & co (eg: half the SAS) have had some success in that market, as Pattricia mentioned, the publishers would probably be interested in such a story if you are a celebrity or have had a really interesting life. Why not upload a chapter that you have written or an overview of what the book may cover & we’ll try to give you an impartial assessment to see if it would be worth ghost writing?

I’ve read STACKS of military biographies so would hopefully be able to spot a winning story or give you some pointers.

I don't actually have anything written down as yet because I am rubbish at writing and my grammar is questionable.

The book would be from when I first approached the careers office up to the day I left. Included in this would be the truth about basic training, What we got up to on operational tours, life in
the glasshouse or the 5 bar hotel as I like to call it and ofcourse my claim to fame how I made the queen reschedule her diary.

You could actually use it as a guide on what not to do in the forces.

Id definately buy a book like that.
I used to enjoy books by Sven Hassel, stories about the German army so if you could get someone to turn it into a bawdy yet informative series of stories it`d sell like hot cakes.

Doesnt matter about writing and grammar. If you can record it onto tape, anyone can write from that.
