so it'll cost £6K when it gets here and you carry it on your keyring ... why not just paint a big sign saying 'mug me' or 'help me find my keys and you can have the car I just want the fob back'

Not only that. but if you had 64Gig of information on it, how the hell do you insure it in case you lost that amount of info?

Bit dear that isn't it? :o

But why would you want to carry that much storage around with you? Surely just one of those 'Larger' HDD's would be more practical (Incase you lose it) AND cheaper? (The portable ones I mean)

it's good news though, the sooner hard drives move to solid state technology the better.

as for the price, im sure if you bought 32 of the 2Gb usb drives, it would work out cheaper :hihi: although you'd look like a jailer with them all on your keyring

I've asked my boss for one - we'll see if he realises it's not a 64mb ;)

It's a bit stupid charging that really. You can get an 80 gig IPOD for £260 in the UK which is just as fast and plays music and videos too. OK It's not a flash drive but it's USB2 and is just as good for storing data on.
