View Full Version : Prozac in drinking water alienmaria 08-08-2004, 13:05 Can't believe what i have just read http://uk.news.yahoo.com/040808/80/ezu8s.html Any one got any comments ? Cols 08-08-2004, 13:23 Relax.... Chill out ..... :) Shouldn't be a problem for Sheffield as the water comes off the peaks into the resevoirs. More off an issue in places like London where it's said that drinking water passes through the human body up to 7 times by the time it reaches the sea. UUGGGGHHH. HxTim 08-08-2004, 13:49 Every cloud has a silver lining. It can't possibly be THAT dirty after going through all of those Kidneys ;) Grissom 08-08-2004, 14:31 The water you drink today has passed through a huge number of people and animals before you consume it - as they say on this site "Do you know that the water you drink today was probably drunk by a dinosaur!" http://www.wetwaterwizard.co.uk/ Cyclone 08-08-2004, 15:57 unless you burn some hydrogen and collect the brand new water, guaranteed never been drunk before. dragonsoup 08-08-2004, 18:24 Dont tell me yer worried about that, fer gods sake! p.s someone stopped to ask me directions on West St. as I was pointing out the University to him an unrefrigerated van pulled up with a stack of dead animals in the back the floor and walls of the vehicle were spattered with blood. A small dark man(cannot say what type or I will be branded racist) carried it into a nearby takeaway (again cannot reveal the type of takeaway) This in the middle of summer. Dont worry about a bit of crap in the water Dragon JoeP 08-08-2004, 18:43 Well, for years we've had the hormones from contraceptive pills, nitrates, nitrites, phthalates, pesticides, any drugs that are taken by people in large amounts and that don't get caught by the filtration system. And then there's the stuff that goes in there deliberately - flouride, amongst other stuff. I'm not terribly worried about a tiny amount of Prozac. Joe Snook 08-08-2004, 18:51 I think they should put MORE Prozac in the water... what a country this would be. No more football violence, crime would fall... although this forum would probably be no longer needed... Sam Miguel 08-08-2004, 20:05 Actually, if they put Viagra in the water supply would it turn to ice? Get it? max 08-08-2004, 21:03 Originally posted by JoePritchard I'm not terribly worried about a tiny amount of Prozac. It's working then. :D miniminch 08-08-2004, 22:54 Yipeeeeeeeee all we need now is some fermented hops and morphine and we'll be laughing! Higher taxes? I wouldn't go that far, football violence and crimes are committed by people who aren't depressed so having an antidepressant wouldn't make much difference. Maybe a load of valium and hashish might do the trick! |
