My daughter has an orthodontal appointment on thursday on Eccleshall Road. We live in Hillsborough and usually get one of the '80's' busses straight through. Obviously, with the strike, we can't do that. We can get the tram to town but are there any busses at all going up Eccleshall Road? She missed her last appointment because of the strike (I couldn't get there and back in time for work with no bus) and really needs to go.
Any suggestions?

you can get a number 74 (yorkshire terrier) from town to go up ecclesall road,
you can catch this outside virgin at the top of fargate
at the rear of debenhams or to the rear or atkinsons.

Thank you so much!!
If there were no busses we would just have had to walk!!
You've saved me poor 'lil legs!
Just to add, as well as Yorkshire Terrier service 74/74A, there are also less frequent services 65, 257, 272 most of which are operated by Stagecoach from Sheffield Interchange.
Easiest way to get this info is www.sypte.co.uk journey planner, use Hunters Bar as the destination.
It will be about as cheap to get a cab from Hillsborough to Ecclesall Road. Worth making a call! We always use Mercury.
