Last year my boyfriend got a really nice picture of us printed and framed which I loved a bunch of flowers and a few other little things that I didn't really need.

But the really nice thing about my birthday was that we did whatever I wanted all day, he didn't complain, moan or argue with me and had candles set up when we got back home for a lovely massage.

I could tell he hated every minute of it but it made my day.

The next day things went back to normal but it made it memorable at least.

Just remember to give him what he wants when it's his birthday.

As for the OP. One good trick is to create a massive argument a few days before their birthday and split up. You can make up a week or so later and you've saved your dough. Sometime you can be really lucky and they'll be on during the break-up so you won't miss out on a thing. :thumbsup:
