Carmine 09-10-2006, 12:08 Spooktacular have some hidden gems in their jumble piles. I bought an old Games Workshy game from there for £3.50 and saw it on Ebay for £25.00 the next day. AlquarUK 09-10-2006, 13:05 my sister had that as a kid, will be in the loft. if still need one PM me and I'll ask my sis if willing to sell :) critter 09-10-2006, 15:14 The antiques shops off Abbeydale Road....and behind Abbeydale in front of the Virgin gym: a couple of emporium type places. Ask the dealers there; they are usually very knowledgeable and will probs be able to put you in touch with someone....There are also regualr flea markets at Don Valley stadium.... Shiesh 09-10-2006, 15:17 I bought my lad the old style 'guess who' off a car boot this summer for £2.50!! It is much better made than the current one in the shops!! In fact most games manufactured pre 1985 were fantastic quality compared to the tat they sell today! |
