"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful - and so are we," the US president told a high-level meeting of Pentagon officials. "They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people - and neither do we." (:loopy: ) His comments came during a signing ceremony for a $417bn defence bill. White House spokesman Scott McClellan said that Mr Bush's mistakes should reassure rather than alarm..."

Hmm... that's a spin-doctor and a half! :o

"...and neither do we..." LOL, for the first time, he speaks the truth. Must be quite liberating for George "Not the President" Bush.

One of my favourite bushisms is;

"For a century and a half now, America and Japan have formed one of the great and enduring alliances of modern times."

- Tokyo, Feb 18, 2002.

I laughed for about ten minutes when i read that one.

Actually.....

And in 'Devil's Advocate' mode......

There's a lot to be said for the 'good guys' pretending to be terrorists and think up ways of harming the UK or US, so perhaps GW was sort of right!

Some years ago a US general got so good at being a terrorist in excercises that they fired him from the job - his forces in the wargmaes and simulations kept winning.
