Did anyone watch American Gothic the 1st time around -:suspect: I'm thinking it was about 10 years ago .... about a boy (Caleb) who's sister died and the story was about his visions and spiritual connections.:thumbsup:

yeah it was a great show, it would be good to see it repeated. I think it started in 1999/2000.

i think it was about 10 years ago as i used to watch it with my mum and im sure it was before i went to secondary school (im 20, so it would make me 10/11) I used to like it, not sure if i'll watch it again though.

Yup...it was cancelled like all the best shows are.

Saw the trailer last night. Brought back some memories, I will definatley be watching.

i remember that. it had the guy out of Midnight Caller in it.

it's one of them programmes i never got round to watching. I imagine it's a horror based thing?

I started watching it, but never saw the end of the series, I'm assuming the sheriff turns out to be you know who (from down below) ?

The episode where the guy had to cut his own hand off of burn to death was great, the sheriff was an evil git.

American Gothic was screened in 1995.

It has a lot in common with the recent Invasion series in that they were both created by Shaun Cassidy and both got cancelled after one series.

David Cassidy is Shauns half brother.

Sam Raimi, of Evil Dead and Spiderman fame, was also a producer on American Gothic.

I have it on DVD :) Problem is it's all in the wrong order....bloody stupid TV company.

OMG!! cant wait watched it first time round but missed a couple of episodes. Lucas Black who played Caleb is all grown up now - the last thing i saw him in was Jarhead (looking very mmmmmm). Looking forward to watching it all over again, remember it being really spooky!!!

Thought about it when I saw it advertised but I watched it first time round, then it was repeated a few years later so I think I've got that one sussed.

My dad is absolutely dreading American Gothic coming back on, he says its the biggest load of rubbish.

I personally only have eyesfor a few tv series...i think i'll stickwith them.

I was well upset last night, coz I missed the last half hour....does anyone know if there's a repeat before next Wednesday?
