Does anyone know what has happened to the brilliant drama series Making Waves which seems to have disappeared from ITV 1 on a Wednesday evening?

I heard that one episode was postponed because it was about a fire on board and some firemen died the day before tackling a blaze.

The powers that be have pulled out the plug from the hull of that well made show.
Something ratings related presumeably.
