I dunno if this usual but ive got to the time where nothing seems to matter apart from my family.

5min ago my sisters boyfriends brother staarted saying stuff about my sister as if she didnt matter. well when he started this i went straight up to him in my wheelchair (while he was lied on the floor) and told him to stop dissing my sister, I knew he could kick the **** out of me if he wanted but I didnt care as long as he stopped dissing me sister.

Is this usual?

yup, it is always the blood is thicker than water.
Never get involved with a family dispute unless you are one of them, they wil always turn on you.

Years ago, my ex-mother-in-law said a lot of nasty things about my drinking habits, idleness, drug addiction, neglect of my children, smoking, meanness, stupid driving, poor cooking, lack of interest in world affairs, awful loutish friends and personal hygene.

Unfortunately, my ever-loving wife not only agreed with her but added a few more barbs of her own.I could only reply that no-one was 100% perfect. So, it's true that blood can be thicker than water.I was shaken to the core and went to live near Scunthorpe shortly after that and never heard from either of them again.

A wise choice Fareast.

I like Homer Simpson's attitude to his family. When he was being threatened by aliens, he pleaded 'spare me please, I have a wife and kids - take them instead!'
