can i warn a few people that if you were considering hiring this company to do your windows and doors, i would think twice. my experience was terrible. it all started at a friends house where i was asked to wait in whilst the man came. he arrived. i offered him a cup of tea which he declined. i then showed him around the house and what needed doing, as i had been asked to. the whole of his jobs took him about five minutes then he was itching to get off, saying as he went that he hadnt finished and would have to come back. (after weeks of trying to get them to come). i locked up and assumed that it had all been completed to a satisfactory standard. the residents then called me later that evening saying there was no way the living room window could be shut and what had the guy done to it. trying to get them to come back and have another look was a huge problem. the man apparantly said i was "high as a kite" and as such was an unsafe place to work. he said that i followed him around the house and told him how to do his job. i can assure that this is all untrue. the whole experience was very humiliating. the service was awful. when we got a different company to come round they confirmed that it didnt look like the windows had any attention for years and laughed at what the previous idiot had done. be warned.

Calling your company "Beware" is just asking for trouble......

Who is this company?Name & shame them.Whilst not doubting priggers' story is true I think it should require more than one complaint to name and shame a company and that complaint should be from the customer. I have had occasions where we have done exactly the same job for customers and one has grumbled like hell and the other congratulates us on how good we were.

I used this company to replace our misted DG units and to change some locks. They were really good. Very efficient and didn't even charge us for a bit of extra work they did.

This was about 2 years ago

I can assure you that everytime I have had work done by the Window Doctor, it has been poor. My Landlady would always contact then, I think just out of habit. But they would take months to attend to a problem, which would then be only half addressed. The last window to which Priggers (a friend of mine) is talking of was only due to have the handle replaced and hinges tightened. The hinges were anything but tightened according to our very good repair man who came to fix the trouble Window Doctor had caused, infact quite the opposite. Leading me to believe that it was purposeful.

Above all that they were damn right rude, they shouted at me and my fiance and then tried to call my landlady to grass us up for some makebelieve nonsense. And all for an extra £30-40

Weirdos....

Used one by the same name a couple of years ago and he put us a new set of hinges on an opener for next to nothing and it still works perfectly so can't complain
