Hmmm. Walking past Groucho's on Ecclesall Road, the chalkboard has the message:

"From all Groucho's staff, thank you. 17 years. Goodnight!"

They are also not answering their phones for booking.

The word on the streets is a change of ownership or possibly just ceased trading?

Can anyone provide some hard news on this?

it was mentioned in the telegraph a few weeks ago that it was to close for good. no mention of what will replace it, though it'll be interesting to see if mcdonalds try for it!!!
i'd like a caffe nero personally..
