recently, I ordered a cushion pattern from ebay.
Then I had a look at the pattern, thought OOh I like that one, and went ahead to order the yarn.

Only trouble was, I had a bill come out that I forgot about and had to leave the otder for a couple of weeks. The seller, Knot_mushroom, was very understanding becasue I contacted her right away, adn she held the yarn for me.
Today, said yarn has arrived, and I have no idea what I ordered it for!!
I like to have enough for 2 cushions, but I;ve only got enough for one, and I dont even like the one I've chosen.
UNless I;ve decided to knit the smaller one so I have an assortment of sizes, which actually seems to make more sense.
Deary me, I could charge people to go on tours round my head, its very interesting you know.
Well, astounding is more the word:hihi: :hihi: :loopy:

Far too scarey for anyone to take a tour of my head; I'm trying to do 1001 things at once and succeeding in doing not very much at all, so confusion reigns in my brain at the minute :hihi: .

I tend to buy yarn either for a pattern, which I try to have with me when I buy the yarn, or with a vague idea of a pattern in mind. It's fine in the former instance; I can store the pattern with the yarn straight away. With the latter, the yarn tends to get put in my storage drawers, in the bag, with no idea what the pattern is. I tend to pull the bag out of the drawer about three months later and wonder what the hell I bought it for. I've usually gone off the pattern by that time too  .
