The silk some of us used for clapotis, does it have wool in it? I;ve lost my bands that came on the skeins.
My friend wants to knit it, but is allergic to wool.

I wouldn't have thought so, I thought it was 100% silk. You could always email Kerrie at hipknits and ask her.

Just a guess, but I reckon that's 100% silk. The texture and sheen look very much like some Jaeger and Debbie Bliss 100% silk I've just bought for embroidery purposes. As Amelie says, email them to double-check though.

I used 3 skeins of Collinette from the Wool Baa for mine. That's wool free but feels lovely, not scratchy or sweaty at all.:) (Lovely colours too)
