foy and co.....but ming be careful you normally only get what you pay for....this company has a base near crystal peaks.
I would suggest you call ross ward at taylor and emmett...he is i am told one of the best in the business and i think he will negociate on the cost....good luck

Hi, the quotes depend on how much you are purchasing/selling for.

I dealt with foy & co - not good. Ross Ward is a good guy. Also try Lewis Francis Blackburn in town or Atteys in Attercliffe.

Just remember you get what you pay for.

An expensive solicitor is not a guarantee they will be good, a cheap one is probably a guarantee they aren't very good.

Having said that, if its pretty straightforward just about any conveyancing solicitor is going to get the job done. If there are going to be complications involved there's a good chance someone cheap will mess it up.

I've been looking at some of the internet ones as well.....Their prices cant be beaten methinks, dunno about the service though!

Just remember that a cheap quote is not always a cheap quote oncce you've read the small print.

The internet has made conveyancing such a competative business that inorder for solicitors to stay competative against the internet marketing companies (that bulk buy solicitors time at a discount) they have come up with some pretty shady ways of slipping in unexpected costs.

I have used internet solicitors on a no. of occasions and had no trouble. |In fact they have been very good with no move no fee etc included in price. Conveyancing is pretty straight forward and in my experience all solicitors need a bit of a push to get your work at the top of their pile
Having said that, if you do find a good local one let me know! I stopped using the company that I gave a gave a large amount of business to, as they became less efficient and raised their fees to boot

I used Coates based in Mosborough, Sheffield about 6 months ago, I would use them again as they did everything required and I had no problems It was cheaper then some other quotes I had done at the time.

I have used Malcolm C Foy and Co, the Rotherham branch for buying 2 different properties. I dealt with Lynn on both occasions and she is fantastic. She really makes sure she covers all bases and fights your corner. She was recommended originally from a financial advisor and she came in the cheapest.

Were just about to complete and have used Coates, I would higley reccommend them, they have been fast and professional. Really cheap too for convayencing on a £95k house cost £707 inc. all searches etc.

I used Malcolm C Fou and Co 7 years ago and they were really good. Just used Ellie Marriot at Home delivery Conveyencing in Chesterfield, very cheap and the staff are soooo friendly. Well pleased with the service.
