Meersbrook is a good area, its quite homely and some parts are quiter than others , we live down in Woodseats . I like Meersbrook as an area, theres alot of houses being done up and its got alot ameinities nearby. shops in Woodseats, graves park, Meersbrook park , good bus routes nearby and lots more

I've lived in meersbrook 2 years now and I love it. I get on really well with all the people I share a gennel with, strangers in the street smile and say hello, the park is great and the view from the top is amazing. You hear owls at night and I've never seen any trouble personally.

If you have children though you need to check school catchment area as some are better than others.

The big advantage for families in Meersbrook is Meersbrook Park. New playground, youth club, ancient walled garden (with summer fetes and Apple Day) and new skateboard park about to be built.

It's a lovely area and the schools are excellent.
