You know, the lack of Metros to read on my train to work is hitting me harder than the lack of buses operated by First.

WHY ARE THERE NO METROS!?

Indeed.

Or buy a PROPER paper such as one of the tabloids or a Sheffield Star.

Metro has to be the worst newspaper on earth.
Most of the 'news' items have been in all the papers the day before, and once you get about 10 pages in,it dissapears up its own arse!!

All that arty farty theatre reviews don't appeal to 99% of the Sheffield travelling public./most of them just want to travel to work looking at a pair of paps and picking out the winner of the 3.30 at Wincanton.

But I'm missing my daily dose of easy to read news stories with big pictures, and letters written by stupid people!

Of the tabloids newspapers available to buy, the red tops are just rubbish, the Express and Mail annoy me with their doomsday reporting and severe right wing attitude, and the Times is too much hard work for that time of day!

Metro newspapers are great to put your feet one when the buses are dirty. the only thing they're usefull for !

Thank god for real newspapers.

Question: Anyone know how Metro is funded as it's free ?

I haven't seen the Metro on the Trams much this week :loopy:

I don' really care enough to fork out 30p for one though cos I'm only ever on teh Tram 10 minutes or so from Hillsborough to Town.

They have been on the halfway tram every day during the strike.

I like the letters page most ! real people (mostly from london, I grant you) but people all the same - having a rant and moan about everyday life -

much like this forum really !
